Selah<\/p>\n<p>4 Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked;<br \/>\nPreserve me from violent men,<br \/>\nWho have purposed to make my steps stumble.<\/p>\n<p>5 The proud have hidden a snare for me, and cords;<br \/>\nThey have spread a net by the wayside;<br \/>\nThey have set traps for me. Selah<\/p>\n<p>6 I said to the Lord: \u201cYou are my God;<br \/>\nHear the voice of my supplications, O Lord.<\/p>\n<p>7 O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation,<br \/>\nYou have covered my head in the day of battle.<\/p>\n<p>8 Do not grant, O Lord, the desires of the wicked;<br \/>\nDo not further his wicked scheme,<br \/>\nLest they be exalted.
