The result is a<br \/>\nloss of hope and doubt in God. This is especially prevalent in our present times.<br \/>\nConstant messages of doom and gloom in the context of world events beat on our<br \/>\nhearts and minds like heavy, unceasing rain. We\u2019ve only human, and can\u2019t take<br \/>\nthe unending battering forever.<br \/>\nThe only antidote or remedy is to turn our thoughts back to Jesus. He never left<br \/>\nor forsook us, but rather we let our focus drift away from Him. He is yearning for<br \/>\nus to come back to His arms, the Harbor of Peace. He gives us the peace that<br \/>\npasses all understanding. \u201cBe anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer<br \/>\nand supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God; and<br \/>\nthe peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and<br \/>\nminds through Jesus Christ (Phil. 4:-7). Also see John 14:27. \u201cPeace I leave with<br \/>\nyou, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your<br \/>\nheart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. We need not know how or why it<br \/>\nworks, but just believe it works by faith.<br \/>\nJust as a tiny rudder turns a big ship, so a tiny amount of faith can move a<br \/>\nmountain. See Matthew 17:20. \u201cSo Jesus said to them, \u201cBecause of your<br \/>\nunbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will<br \/>\nsay to this mountain, \u2018Move from here to there,\u2019 and it will move; and nothing will<br \/>\nbe impossible for you.\u201d Also see John 14:1. \u201cLet not your heart be troubled; you<br \/>\nbelieve in God believe also in me.\u201d The last part of the answer is in the last part of<br \/>\nJohn 10:10. \u201cI have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more<br \/>\nabundantly.\u201d If you have life abundantly, there is no room in your mind to dwell<br \/>\non loss of hope and joy.<br \/>\nSo let these scriptures be the answer to your loss of hope and joy. In the name of<br \/>\nJesus, there is power, more power than any weapon man or the Devil has, has<br \/>\nhad, or ever will have.
