I am sending my messenger,<br \/>\nand he will prepare the way before me.<br \/>\nThen the Lord you are seeking<br \/>\nwill suddenly come to his Temple.<br \/>\nThe messenger of the covenant,<br \/>\nwhom you look for so eagerly,<br \/>\nis surely coming,\u201d<br \/>\nsays the Lord of Heaven\u2019s Armies.<\/p>\n<p>2 \u201cBut who will be able to endure it when he comes?<br \/>\nWho will be able to stand and face him when he appears?<br \/>\nFor he will be like a blazing fire that refines metal,<br \/>\nor like a strong soap that bleaches clothes.<br \/>\n3 He will sit like a refiner of silver,<br \/>\nburning away the dross.<br \/>\nHe will purify the Levites,<br \/>\nrefining them like gold and silver,<br \/>\nso that they may once again<br \/>\noffer acceptable sacrifices to the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>John 15 (NLT)<\/p>\n<p>1 \u201cI am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener.<br \/>\n2 He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn\u2019t produce fruit,<br \/>\nand he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.<br \/>\n3 You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.<br \/>\n4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you.<br \/>\nFor a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine,<br \/>\nand you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.<\/p>\n<p>5 \u201cYes, I am the vine; you are the branches.<br \/>\nThose who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.<br \/>\nFor apart from me you can do nothing.<br \/>\n6 Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers.<br \/>\nSuch branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.<br \/>\n7 But if you remain in me and my words remain in you,<br \/>\nyou may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!<br \/>\n8 When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples.<br \/>\nThis brings great glory to my Father.<\/p>\n<p>John 15 (NKJV)<\/p>\n<p>1 \u201cI am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.<br \/>\n2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;<br \/>\nand every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.<br \/>\n3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.<br \/>\n4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,<br \/>\nunless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.<br \/>\n5 \u201cI am the vine, you are the branches.
