Hope you like it Roy will be teaching over Skype to Pakistan. I thought you might like to read it too!

Glory to Jesus Family of God

My name is Roy Cypher. I am in ordained traveling evangelist

My wife Susan and I live in Comanche, OK.

My wife and I facilitate C.O.R.T, City of Refuge Training Center, we travel planting house churches worldwide and we also work with Point Man International Ministries which is veterans serving veterans.

Being an evangelist for over 40 years I have been in 24 countries and 46 of the states in the United States ministering

My heart is for the lost …for as we all know he who wins souls is wise…Proverbs 11:30

We have experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to do the works in the book of Acts in our ministries.

We have experienced Jesus’s compassion as stated in Matthew 9:35 -36.

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and disease amount the people but when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

Vs 37. Then He said unto His disciples, The harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few;

Vs 38 Pray ye, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.

As you can see at this point in chapter 10 of Matthew Jesus chose 12.men to be his disciples, and He made this statement Matthew 10:1..And when He had called unto Him, His twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

In verse 5 of Matthew 10 Jesus sent the 12 forth and commanded them saying Go not into the way of the Gentiles and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

Vs 6 but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel..

Vs 7 and as you go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Vs 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils, freely ye have received freely give.

Vs 9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, or brass in your purses;

Vs 10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither 2 coats, neither shoes nor yet staves; for the workman is worthy of his meat.

Vs 11 and into whatsoever city and town ye shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.

Vs 12 and when you come into a house salute it.

Vs13 and if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

Vs 14 and whosoever shall not receive you, nor your words, when you depart out of that house

or city, shake off the dust from your feet.

Vs 15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

The church you may have noticed here that in Matt 10 that Jesus’s compassion from chapter 9 followed Jesus into the choosing of Jesus’s 12 apostles.  And then after they were chosen they were given a command to go forth.

The apostles were given a job in their ministries, to do what it said in Matthew vs 7 & 8 in chapter 10.  Along with their commission to preach, they were also given other instructions.

In vs 16 however, we see a warning…expect persecution!

Vs 16 Behold I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Other bible writers explain this same persecution as Matthew does, for example, Mark 13:9-13; Lk 21:12-17..

As we continue on here we are cautioned in vs 26 of Matthew 10 to fear them not therefore for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, and hid that shall not be known.

Now we come down to vs 32 Confess Christ before men.

Matthew 10:32 Whosoever there for shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven

Vs 33 but whosoever shall deny me before men then shall I deny them before my Father in heaven

Matthew 10:34 speaks about change bringing conflict also spoken about in Luke 21-51, and Luke 14:26-27 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace but a sword.

Vs 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother and the daughter-in-law against the mother-in-law

Vs 36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his household.

Vs 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me

Vs 38 and he that take the not his cross and follows after me, is not worthy of me.

Vs 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it

Our rewards for following Him

Vs 40 He that receiveth you receiveth me and he that receiveth me receiveth He who sent me

Vs 41 he that receiveth a prophet in my name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

Vs 42 and whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple verily I say unto you he shall in no wise lose his reward

In chapter 11 of Matthew

Vs 1 and it came to pass that Jesus had made an end of commanding his 12 disciples he departed thence to teach and to preach in other cities.

Now I want to take you to John 2

This is right after Jesus performed his first miracle of turning water into wine.

When Jesus goes to the temple to minister because Passover was at hand and He became righteously indignant for the people were selling animals and other goods to use for sacrifice. He saw that the sellers were cheating the people. Jesus left the temple without blessing the people there because He knew their hearts were not toward God.

John 3

Vs 1 There was a man of the Pharisees. Named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

Vs 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God. For no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

Vs 3 Jesus answered and said unto him. Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Vs 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?

Vs 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily,, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Vs 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit

Vs 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again

Vs 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of man be lifted up. it cometh and whither it goeth: so everyone that is born of the Spirit.

Vs 9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

Vs 10 Jesus answered and said unto him Art thou a master of Israel and knowest not these things?

Vs 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye belie e, if I tell you of heavenly things?

Vs 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven but he that came down from heaven, even the son of man which is in heaven.

Vs 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of man be lifted up.

Vs 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Vs 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life

Vs 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

Vs 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Vs 19 And this is the condemnation that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.

Vs 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Vs 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest that they are wrought in God……..

We found in the next few verses John  in verse 22 and 23 that Jesus was greater than John

Vs 22 After these things came to Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judea and there he tarried with them and baptized

Vs 23 John was also baptizing in Aenon near to Salim because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Vs 24 for John was not yet cast into prison

Then John made a powerful statement in verse 30

Vs 30 He must increase but I must decrease said John of Jesus

Vs 31 He that cometh from above is above all he that is of the earth is earthly and he that cometh from heaven is above all

Vs 32 and what he has seen and heard that he testified and no man receiveth his testimony

Vs 33 He that hath receiveth his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true

Vs 34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

Vs 35 The Father loveth the Son and hath given all things into his hand

Vs 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life. And he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Now are you understanding this Church we are on a journey here

Our Journey started in Matthew 30:9 with Jesus’s compassion

moved on into his choose of 12 disciples

then he anointed them as laborers in the harvest and sent them out endowing them with great power

This power he gave them was against unclean spirits to cast them out to heal all manner of sickness and disease

And He made the very bold proclamation heal the sick cleanse the lepers and raise the dead cast out devils freely you have received freely give.

Now here we are days later catching up with John the Baptist and Jesus. God is moving them along to where Jesus meets Nicodemus.

And I need to ask you a very important question church are you born again as the way Jesus described to Nicodemus if not we will revisit this at end of the message.

As we continue on here Jesus made another statement to a Samaritan woman John 4 verse 21 Believe me the hour cometh when you shall neither in this mountain nor yet at Jerusalem worship the father

Vs 22 Ye worship, ye know not what. We know what we worship for salvation is of the Jews

Vs 23  but the hour cometh and now is when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. For the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Vs 24 God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth.

Now I want to move on here I want you to understand in Chapter er10 of John it says Jesus is the good shepherd.

Vs 1 verily verily I say unto you he that enters not buy the door into the sheep fold but climbth up some other way is the same as a sheep and a robber

Vs 2 but he that enterth in by the door is the shephard of the sheep.

Vs 3 to him the porter openeth and the sheep hear his voice and he calleth his own sheep by name and lead them out

Vs 4 and when he putteth forth his own sheep and the sheep follow him for they know his voice.

Vs 5 and a stranger will they not follow and will flee from him for they know not the voice of strangers

I want to lead you now church to Hebrews 11 in the new testament.

Hebrews 11:1 says now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen

Vs 2 for by it the elders obtained a good report

Vs 3 Through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which were seen were not made of things that do appear

Hebrews 11:4 I call the testimony walk of faith it talks about the faith of Able, Enoch, the faith of Noah ,the faith of Abraham and many other examples of faith displayed by others.

Where are you today church in your faith journey?

As we have explored in this sermon it was my intention to stir you up in faith

Where is your level of faith as I give this testimony of Jesus, the early followers, and the old testament faithful.  My intention is to stir up your faith through the word of God

Now turn with me if you would to second Peter to talk about a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ

Paul who made this very bold statement in Second Peter Chapter 1

Vs 1To them who have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our saviour Jesus Christ

Vs 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord

Now here church is an example in verse 3 how we can live like Godly lives like Jesus

Vs 3 according to his devine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. Through the knowledge of Him that hath calls us to glory and virtue.

Vs 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Vs 5 And beside this giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue an to virtue, knowledge.

Vs 6 And to knowledge, temperance, and to temperance, patience, and to patience, godliness;

Vs 7 And to godliness , brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, charity

Vs 8  for if these things be in you , and abound, they make you that ye shall neither e barren or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Vs9 But he that lacketh these things is blind and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sin.

Vs 10 Wherefore the rather brethren give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall;

Vs 11For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly not the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Conclusion: Church after considering all these things in the Word you can move from faith to Love or charity and the highest of these is Love.

and by doing these things you to can be victorious
